While the surgical assistant community is struggling in several states to become a licensed specialty, it is heart felt for those surgical assistants who are in states where the needs of professional assistance in operative procedures are ignored or operating room nurse’s services are utilized. Surgical Assistant Voice took the challenge in its hands and pledged support to the professional community to build a nationwide platform and continue the struggle at a national scale with monitoring legislative progress.
